경복궁 Kyeongbok Palace

Located between the city skyscrapers and beautiful mountains, Kyeongbok Palace is known as the grandest and most beautiful palace of all five palaces built in Joseon dynasty.

 

It has been destroyed and restored throughout history, containing the vast history of Joseon starting from the 14th century.

 

It’s main gate Gwanghwamun is regarded as the  land mark and symbol of Seoul’s long history as capital city during the Joseon dynasty.

You can look upon the sophisticated patterns painted along the ceilings and walk through the open corridors. Imagine the royal life in the Palace!

 

The gates are wide open for you!

남산타워

N Seoul Tower

Have you ever imagined how big Seoul is?

Or how beautifully the river flows across the city? Or how mountains surround this vast city?

If so, N Seoul Tower is the right place for you!

On top of Namsan mountain, the N Seoul Tower stands tall watching over the capital of Korea.

You may see the wonderful scenery of the city from here and also hang a locker with you and your friend/lover’s name on it!

The night view is also spectacular!

전주 한옥 마을

Jeonju Hanok Village

Jeonju Hanok Village is a village in Jeonju containing over 800 Korean traditional houses called 'Hanok'

.

As one of the most famous tour sites in Korea, many tourists visit the village to encounter the traditional houses and streets that strongly contrast with the modern city around it.

 

Walk by the beautiful cathedral Jeondong and enter the village! You can try on traditional Korean outfits, Hanbok, and walk along the streets where they sell wonderful street food!

용산 전쟁기념관

War Memorial of Korea

Located on the former site of the army headquarters, the War Memorial of Korea exhibits the military history of Korea in order to remember the ones who were sacrificed in war and to learn about the significance of peace.

 

You may find out about the various wars that took place in this peninsula, including the Korean War which resulted in the division of South and North Korea.
